I canโ€™t understand everyone who prefers night at the opera. To me this album flows much better, without songs like lazing on a Sunday after noon, and seaside rendezvous. Love every song on this album, quintessential Queen

This is another one of Queen's weaker works, but a great follow-up to A Night At The Opera nonetheless. There are a few great tracks on this album, like Tie Your Mother Down or The Millionaire Waltz or Good Old-Fashioned Lover Boy. I recommend those three songs to listen to if you're looking for the gems on this album.

This was the first Queen album I've ever heard in its entirety. Freddie's vocals in "You Take My Breath Away" always get to me. So beautiful...

This and Night At The Opera are my absolute favorite Queen LPs. This one has the best versions of Tie Your Mother Down and Somebody To Love. I was 16 in 1976 and in the hospital for 1.5 months with a ruptured appendix. Nothing compared to my roommate Tammy, not much older than me. She had Leukemia and spent most of the year in this room. She had decorated all the walls and her family had a stereo hooked up. Every day the nurses would close our door and she'd play this and Night At The Opera (on cassette) over and over and over again like teenagers do and that's how I was lucky enough to became a Queen fan. I'm sure you're in Heaven. God Bless You Tammy I still think of you EVERY time I hear a Queen song!
  • A couple good tracks

I got bored with this one just because the b side just couldn't support the rest of the album

What a great follow up to A Night At The Opera! Almost every song on this album is fantastic, especially Tie Your Mother Down and Somebody To Love. But there is so much more! Those two are just the most known songs on the album. Donโ€™t forget about the rest of the album, which is just as amazing. Long Away, The Millionaire Waltz, You And I, Good Old-Fashioned Lover Boy, and Teo Torriatte are all absolutely brilliant! Recommend the album to anyone!
  • Maybe this is a hidden gem for people
