The turning point for all "Live" shows Rush was to perform. The production and lighting added dimesion and depth to the songs. Rush will always be one of the greatest bands in music. The muscianship of theese 3 men? They forged a bond with other espiring musicians and fans. Neil Peart was the "most" under rated poet of this generation. The lyrics read, life a life story to us all. He is also considered one of the hardest working drummer/pecussionist in the busiuness. The title "greatest?" I guess it depends on who you ask. You can say without question? He was one of the "best" ever. Geddy mastered foot peddals, synthesiser, bass and voclas. "extremely" hard too do. Plus, not get lost in trying to keep time and track of where you are in the song. Alex? He was a guitar god during the early years of the Rush fanatics. The years passed and Alex was willing to put his playing within the music and not in front of it. A true Professional. If you never where a die hard fan? I guess you will never be? A fans perspective of the trio? They were life it self! The band and the fans have a special bond, like "few", in music today. Moving Pictures, was the rocket the propelled them into mortality. 2112 was where it started. We will never again, see a band like Rush again. RIP Neil... Our hearts are broke, but we will stay with your band till the end......jam

Their masterpiece no doubt! Red Barchetta is my spring time, summer time roll down the car windows, step down the gas pedal and blast this song! Camera Eye is a fan fav which discusses observations of New York. Tom Sawyer, YYZ, Limelight. An exceptional album.

Their absolute highlight. They recorded many great albums after this, but Moving Pictured was their zenith. However, the description is wrong. Neil wrote the lyrics for Tom Sawyer (and for every other song on the album), not Geddy.

Musical geniuses. They helped my teenage life go by great! Now they’re helping me in my senior years. The very definition of classic!

The Best: To me, lot’s of fun and great atimes while listening! Great album/cd whatever you prefer to call it. I can’t believe there are only 3 REVIEWS?!! WTH? RUSH FANS get on here and support them-all the thousands/hundreds of thousands of concert goers just can’t be bothered?! Come on!! This album with Geddy at his best, crisp clear vocals and plays the bass which is never heard of at the time! Also, the extremely talented and (almost hate to beat a dead horse) but one of the best, smartest and toughest to copy Peart esp. on Tom Sawyer, blew my teenage mind! I’m a girl who wanted to play the drums (ha ha) but it just wasn’t done much then. I’m glad it didn’t, I’d rather be a fan. Peart’s lyrics spoke to me and I still feel the same every single time I listen to them. Alex Lifeson I love on the electric guitar, so I didn’t want a lot of the synths drowning him out but all in all my favorite Rush album. Hard to see a lot of my favorite bands getting older because I’d love to see all my favorite bands, play live more! Enjoy and show some love by taking the time to post! Thanks guys! 💙
